How to Use the Glacier Hat

Wet the hat with water (dunk, pour, or splash).

The Glacier Hat isn't an air conditioner for your head asa it won't make you feel cold. What it does is keep your head temperature stable and your mind clearer during hot training sessions and races, working by evaporation as you keep it wet (with the option to add ice in the front pocket).
The benefit is marginal and depends heavily on conditions, but in hot, humid events it's worth having. At €125 it's not cheap, though it covers the whole head, and since it never costs you any performance, it's a reasonable option for summer training and warm-weather competition.
I run '25 Berlin Marathon with it (it was carnage that day!) and it really helped to keep the head cool.
I’ve been using the Glacier hat for now 7 months and have noticed a big difference in how I deal with the heat.
Fabric retains water and feels refreshing for longer time but also the pockets to put ice work very well.
100% recommend it for any race both in hot conditions, but also in cooler ones when you go so hard that core temperature and perception is very high!
I am a elite kayaker from sweden so rarely can workout in the heat and usually struggle in hot conditions in the big Championships races. This hat is AMAZING! Feels so good to put on and it stays really cool. I will not do a single race without it in the future and I am very sure that everybody could benefit from this hat 😍
Works as advertised. I thought it seemed alot of money, however you can see the work that has gone i to making this product amd the research and development it must have taken. If you suffer with heat wholst running o can recommend.
